just peeking off the road near the koalas, we found a beautiful rainforest walk.

a burn off in victoria held the english captivated! I don't think they could quite believe that it was meant to be burning! leaves the land looking like a black and white still (meanwhile lots of seeds are germinating...)

bells beach

 me and barry head into gorgeous bells beach, along the great ocean road, victoria.  such stunning landscape.  why is swimming so fantastic? adrian took the pic of surf lifesaver staring out to sea. I was body-surfing next to him, and getting really annoyed - he'd fly off on all sorts of waves that I couldn't catch! The archetypal aussie body, adrian reckons (kind of different to his own!)

more beautiful grampians.  I just loved seeing janu all grown up carrying his own backback. we went walking to oogle at more waterfalls.

I loved loved loved the grampians - western victoria. so much more dramatic than I expected. barry and I got up early one day and clamboured up a huge hill - so stunning.

good ole matilda, our red shiny campervan (now sold, in breaking news).  some good times were had in her.  do you like my reading material?

janu roasts a marshmellow under nuna's bedtime bath - colin has a glass of wine. i loved watching the birds fly overhead lying in this bath, the last light of the day on the huge gum tree above.  barry enjoyed our solar shower (until colin started taking a video of him..!)
