Janu makes a particular noise when he wants you to turn the page of the book you're reading. he stabs at the page with his finger and says 'mm-hmmm'. I take it to mean 'tell me what's happening HERE, NOW'. It's quite a patient little noise, but still pretty assertive. He liked nagyapa to read to him before bed...
He also does this with food - pointing clearly at the next section of weetbix he'd like shovelled into his mouth. Yesterday for breakfast he ate 4 weetbix and some toast. ? and some pear...?
