May Dance at Steiner School - Janu's first school event! We'd been practicing for the previous 2 weeks: walking around holding a pretend branch of May (blossom). The kindy classes went first, and Janu was asking 'is it our turn next??' alot. For such a large group of people, it was amazing that most of the kids just sat still, amazed at the 'May Queens' and live music playing by older kids at the school and the whole festival atmosphere. Very lovely.
We are really enjoying our parent/toddler mornings at the local Steiner School. The grounds are huge, an amazing resource for growing and learning. We make such gorgeous crafts, re-igniting my love for sewing, felting, exploring and playing.
