not representative of all of Melb, but we have loved doing so much walking and seeing the different melbourne gardens.  long surburban streets or tiny city terraces. roses spilling over, or poles of lavender. we make janu walk at least until he's spotted 3 different flowers. did I mention he's not the world's greatest walker? the scooter granny gave him finally lets us move faster than art-gallery pace.
