piles of kangaroos greeted us, finding a campsite in this alpine-y national park. I sat down too near a snake, and leaped up quicker than I thought I could move. one old man-kangaroo stayed around our camp all evening. maybe he thought we had sweet meadow grass somewhere in our camper that we weren't giving up.
