tambu

I’ve said before how wonderful tok pisin is as a language. In this sign, you can translate for yourself. Especially with hints that ‘tree’ is ‘diwai’ and ‘tambu’ is ‘taboo’.  This short walk took us most of a morning, heading out just behind our house up the hill.
