looking at these pics so long after this picnic happened makes me feel sad, missing all these lovely people! this is the 'magic field' a few minutes walk from our house (a few too many minutes for all these food toting, toddler cajoling people!) we had a lovely afternoon with a treasure hunt (forgot to bring enough treasure) and pass the parcel - becci described it as 'old style' pass the parcel because there wasn't enough layers for everyone to have a go, and there was only one present in the middle! ha ha! oops. the cake was given to us by Ivana - the one and only Ivana.
