beach puja

 the following day we were told about a beach that was really good for swimming - this was it! Again, froth clouds and threatening clouds: this time they opened on us and we took refuge in a tiny shop - eating one of everything while we waited.  The young boy was training to be a priest.

This family was doing a puja (ceremony) on they one year anniversary since a relative's death.  coconuts tossed into the sea, chanting, food passed round (to us as well, of course!)
