kochi old town

janu was adept at sleeping through the most beautiful landscapes anywhere, even in bumpy noisy tuk tuks

kochi town was quiet, simple and wonderful.  these enormous trees towered above us.  At night the streets came alive - festival time - with families out till late.  we play hide and seek with Janu along the street to encourage him to use his legs a bit! All the tuk tuks, trains, buses, motorbikes, shoulders and rides on elephants have spoilt him!

we visited a 400 yr old synagogue, with each painted porcelain tile different.  It serves only a handful of Jewish families left in the area.
