our friendkerri has been using her bouncy castle (once part of a soft play area grand idea she had) to keep kiddos occupied while she recovers from a badly broken leg... Janu has only just cottoned on to bouncing, so here he's more bemused than excited..?

The sound finally works on my 'puter again, so I've been back through a few old folders to see what little gems of video I've been missing - here is one of little fella back in May climbing stairs... oh the endless trips up and down and down and halfway up and up and down and down and up up up we go...

he says moooo, buzzzz, ba bab ba, meeeow, broom brooom, and chooochoooo joyfully - not always directly related to what we are seeing. today he pulled out a big map and said (very sure of himself): 'daddy!'

we spent a weekend camping a friends property on dartmoor. a sunny green garden on the edges of the moors. This is before J started walking, and shows his monkey crawl...

from dartmouth to...

Our lovely neighbours, mimi and phillip, organised a walk from the source of the dart - - waaaaay up the top of dartmoor, right to where the river meets the sea. Adrian joined the pilgramage for the 4 days, and Janu and I met them for the last leg. This is us, as we left Sharpam by boat, to putt and walk to Dartmouth.
