our friday girls are still going strong. elmo, janu, rosie, bella and sylvie bump and play and grumble and fight and rumble along together. elmo must have just woken up!

the wonderful annie b came to stay for a very short 2 days. i love seeing the world through her eyes for a while.

janu often talks about growing up. one morning he woke and from his room we could hear: I'm getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger!

In early summer we stayed in goran haven, cornwall for the weekend. we went in the early mornings to beaches when they were deserted. Just us and the warming sand. swimming - like swishing through ice cubes - in the blue.
