See what we discovered in our jungle of a front garden! Hidden in a pussywillow, amongst the bamboo, are three baby blackbirds! I saw the mum sitting on the nest a while ago (felt something watching me as I dug up blackberry roots and teasels). I snuck in when she wasn't around to see some eggs, and instead saw three open mouths gawping for food (reminding me of someone else I know...) Now they are flying around haltingly, in our nascent spring garden.
