we escaped to an animal sanctuary near Moora Moora - amazed to see baby wombats following us around the hospital. they are brought in when they are found alone in the wild (or in mum's pouch if she's found dead by the side of the road). we also saw wombats in the dusk up at the community, along with lyre birds, kookaburra, cockatoos, wallabies and plenty of spiders!
we have some beautiful videos, but bandwith here (or anywhere in australia so far) won't let us upload them...
