janu loved a kid's park on the lake in ooty (we did too). there were loads of adults there, even on the toy trains, with no sense of irony. a friend pointed out that lots of Indian people don't take themselves as seriously as 'we' do. We saw lots of men thoroughly enjoying themselves on dodgem cars and boat rides with their friends, just like happy big kids.
